Edit An Existing Signature (Outlook 2002/2003)

In a previous article I described how to create a new signature in Outlook. Once your signature is created, you can go back and alter it at anytime. For example, you may need to update the text that is included in your signature. Keep in mind that you have the most flexibility for customizing your signatures when you are using Word as your email editor.

To edit an existing signature:

  1. Within Outlook, click Options from the Tools menu.

  2. Click the Mail Format tab.
  3. Click the Signatures button.
  4. Select the signature that you want to alter and click the Edit button.
  5. Make the necessary changes to the signature text and formatting.
  6. Click OK to close the Edit Signature dialog box.
  7. Click OK to close the Create Signature dialog box.
  8. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.

Currently when I try to use the advanced editor to create a signature, the editor is wordpad, how do I change the editor from notepad to Office Word??

    Thanks Mike
