Touching The Brilliance Of Sunrise

I have always been a John Grisham fan.

For one, the bad guy always gets it. As soon as a character shows a villainous side, you KNOW he/she is going down. Likewise, if a character demonstrates heroism, you KNOW things are going to work out for them.

But the thing that impresses me the most about Grisham is that he manages to weave wonderful tales with a minimum of profanity.

Now I know, such a view may seem terribly old-fashioned, but I was raised to believe that thoughts can be expressed most effectively WITHOUT the use of obscene language.

With that, I present today’s Family First site: Touching the Brilliance of Sunrise. Here’s its mission:

Finally, the Love Story You’ve Been Waiting for! If you love good literature without violence, profanity, or inappropriate relationships; if you’re looking for a positive, faith-based love story with a happy but believable ending; if you long to get your hands on a novel that confirms your values and makes you feel good about life, then thank goodness you’ve found Touching the Brilliance of Sunrise.

What we’re talking about here, friends, is great fiction as it once was. Heroes, villains, romance, suspense, all told in a manner in which your grandmother would approve.

And don’t worry. This isn’t a “Christian” book. It’s not fiction designed to make you see the error of your ways. Instead, let the author, Lisa J. Lehr, explain:

My characters aren’t “perfect.” They talk like real people, have real needs, make real mistakes, learn valuable lessons. They don’t “preach” or go around quoting Scripture. They simply grow in their faith and in their relationships with each other, setting an example for those around them and for you and your family.

So if you’ve been looking for a good yarn free from offensive language and hormone-driven characters who jump from bed to bed, then savor today’s Family First site.

Let’s hope more courageous authors take the high road.
