Change The Appearance Of Outlook Today

  • No Related Post

By default, when you open Microsoft Outlook, the Outlook Today Pane is displayed. Unless you have customized Outlook Today, the three columns displayed in the pane are Calendar, Tasks, and Messages. The three columns are side by side and this is considered to be the standard view.

You can customize the appearance of the Outlook Today pane by changing the style. For example, you can have the information appear in two columns instead of three. You can change the style by completing the steps described below.

  1. From the Outlook Today Pane, click Customize Outlook Today.

  2. From the Styles section, use the drop down arrow to select one of the following styles: Standard, Standard (two column), Standard (one column), Summer, Winter. The icon below will change as you select each option to show you how the Outlook Today pane will appear.
  3. Click Save Changes.

why isn’t there more options for customized outlook? What if I wanted to chance the background? or Add web page shortcuts? even add notes to items in the start page?
