Folderico

Face the facts: Sometimes you get tired of looking at the same icons every single day. You need something new, you need something different. This is about the time you need to break out Folderico, a freeware program that will allow you to change your icons around.

Here is what the developer of Folderico has to say.

Allows you to change icons of the chosen folder to any chosen by you. And even at connection of a hard disk to other computer of an icon will remain such what they were made by you.

That is right to the point now, is it not?

You can change an icon of any folder, with any method which is pleasant to you more. You can do it through the context menu with preliminary viewing the image or through the dialog, also with preliminary viewing of the image.

As with any time you are messing around with things you are not supposed to, make sure you back up any files or folders you might change. Also make sure you can switch back to the icons, just in case something might go wrong. I don’t think you’ll have much to worry about though.
