Install Windows Server 2003 Support Tools

Windows Server 2003 includes many utilities that can be used to configure and troubleshoot the operating system and hardware. However, there are additional tools available that are not installed by default. These are referred to as the Support Tools.

You can easily install the Support Tools using the Windows Server 2003 CD. To do so, complete the steps listed below:

  1. Insert the Windows Server 2003 CD.

  2. From the Welcome screen click the Browse this CD option.
  3. Locate the Support\Tools directory on the CD.
  4. Double click the suptools.msi and follow the instructions to complete the installation.
