Move An Object In A PowerPoint Slide (PowerPoint 2002)

Working with objects in any Office application can be frustrating, even for seasoned users. For example, moving an object just a hair to the left can end up taking several minutes.

It is not easy moving an object in a PowerPoint slide a very small distance using your mouse. The object usually ends up moving too far one way. Instead of using the mouse in such situations, you should try using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

Select the object that you want to move. Press the arrow key based on the direction that you want to move the object. Each time you press an arrow key, the object will be moved 1/12 of an inch in the specified direction.
