Internet Authentication Services (IAS) is a solution for centralizing remote access authentication and accounting. Internet Authentication Service can be installed using the Add or Remove Programs applet found within the Control Panel. You can install the software using the steps that are listed below:
- Click Start, point to Control Panel, and select Add or Remove Programs.
- Click Add/Remove Windows Components.
- From the list of Windows Components, click Networking Services and then click the Details button.
- From the list of networking services subcomponents, select Internet Authentication Service.
- Click OK.
- Click Finish
After you have successfully installed this component, an applet will be added to the Administrative Tools submenu. You can use the Internet Authentication Services console to manage your IAS server.

i am working big organization, i want one solution ,i did configure file server in windows 2003 server ,i can asssign static ip and i can given my doman name in that computer, but iwant evry time client access this file server sysytem ask authentication i mean ask username and password ,how can configure ,step by step please inform me
