I’ve been a working stiff who has been slaving away and not getting ahead for most of my life. In 1995, my fortunes took a turn for the better by meeting up with a guy with big ideas by the name of Joel Comm.

Well, he’s uncovered a new idea, and it’s impressive enough that I promptly invested in it. It’s called Got-ZIP, and it’s the brainchild of a man named Dan Nickerson.

Got-ZIP is quite simply unlike any marketing plan I’ve ever seen. Its premise is that there is no competition between its participants. An online sale made in Los Angeles will benefit me, in Arkansas. And nobody is getting any commissions for signing anyone up. Instead, more participants mean more money for all. And the more this idea spreads, the more income is generated for all.

You participate by sponsoring ZIP codes, counties, and states. If an online sale is made from your ZIP code through Pagellan (a free online sales tool), you get a cut. If any sales are made through your county, you get a cut (IF you sponsor the county). If any sales are made in the ENTIRE STATE you sponsor, you get a cut!

The kicker is this: It’s early in the game. Opportunities are there for you to grab entire counties, or, in my happy case, the entire state I live in. This skeptical Norwegian doesn’t make such commitments lightly.

If you grab the ZIP code or county where you live before a nonresident sponsor grabs it, you own ALL commissions from there. They won’t be split with a prospector.

There’s more to it. You also have to spread the word about Pagellan. And you also need to spread the word about Got-ZIP. The more sponsors who sign up, the more commissions will be shared. The more businesses that sign up with Pagellan, the more commissions will be shared.
