Instant messaging can be a tool that is used for good, but it can also be a tremendously large waste of time. While chatting online, it’s easy for hours to pass by as if they were mere minutes. One thing’s for sure, though - your conversations are bound to get very strange in due time. The detached nature of chatting online is infamous for causing people to say stuff that they usually wouldn’t. I know that I’ve had conversations before that I thought would be perfect fodder for a comic strip, and with ChatFu, you can cartoonify your IM chats.

This fun little tool allows you to paste in the chat log from AIM or any other client, and it’ll then turn the conversation into a random comic strip. It works quickly, and the variety of comic panels is a nice touch. Of course, you can type whatever you want into the box - it doesn’t have to be an IM conversation. Once you’ve created a masterpiece, you can then send it to all of your friends, and the functionality to save and browse through your chat logs also exists.
