Error Message When Trying To Connect To Remote Share

When you try to connect to a remote share by using NTLM authentication on a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer, you may receive the following error message:

Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

For example, you may experience this problem when you try to connect to a remote share by using the IP address as the server name.

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Windows XP service pack that contains this hotfix.

      You can plug in a USB keyboard controller ( I use a ekeys49 I got 4 years ago) in via the photo connection kits USB dongle. I need an external power supply for it, but it works fine, and uses the pitch and modulation wheels.
