Your favorites can be organized through Internet Explorer using the Organize Favorites option from the Favorites menu. From the Organize Favorites window, you can create new folders, rename folders and links, move favorites between folders, and delete existing folders and links.
Conversely, you can also organize your favorites through Internet Explorer. To open you favorites folder under XP, simply click Start, click Run, type “favorites” (be sure to include the quotation marks), and Click OK. The contents of your Favorites folder will be displayed in Windows Explorer.
From here you can do all the same things that you can do within Internet Explorer. You can rename an existing favorites folder or link by right clicking the appropriate one and selecting rename. You can create a new folder that will appear in Internet Explorer by right clicking within the window, pointing to New, and selecting folder. You can move favorites between folders using the cut and paste functions from the context menu. And you can also edit the properties for a URL by right clicking the link and selecting the properties option.
