Milne actually only published two books based on Winnie and his beloved friends, but they have since been featured in dozens of movies, videos, easy-reader books, and even have their own attractions at Disneyland and Disney World. James Milne’s Page at Pooh Corner is an excellent resource for those wanting to learn more about the books’ origins. It contains biographies of author A.A. Milne, illustrator E.H. Shepard, and the real-life Christopher Robin (the author’s son.) It also has photos of the original stuffed animals that served as inspiration for the world famous stories. Is webmaster Milne related to the author? “As far as my family can tell, we’re not related… Still, it’s fun having the same last name!”
