GRIN

I’ve always been fascinated by space, as I think most people are. The fact that we can send humans up into the vast nothingness is rather amazing, and the views are always spectacular. It really makes you realize how insignificant we all are in the whole scope of things. Whenever I see a photograph of anything related to space, I always stop to examine it in complete awe. You can pretty much point a telescope anywhere to receive an amazing picture. NASA realized that the public loves these pictures so much, and they decided to create a resource called GRIN (Great Images in NASA).
This resource contains over a thousand images that have been scanned in all their high-resolution glory and placed on the Web site in a collection of sizes for you to choose from. There is a lot of history behind these pictures, and you’ll notice that not all of them were taken in outer space. GRIN covers a lot of NASA’s history, so you’ll find photos that relate to all things NASA. The photos look great, and they are definitely suitable for using as your desktop wallpaper so you can stare at them even more.
