Whether you’re shipping or receiving a package, it’s easy to be anxious for the parcel to arrive at its final destination. The creation of online tracking has made it much simpler for us to watch our delivery make its way from the point of origin to the doorstep of the receiver. I know that when I’m expecting a package, I routinely check the status of the order to see exactly where it is, and when I can expect it. Instead of manually researching the tracking number each time, wouldn’t it be easier to just have the results fed to you via RSS? With Simple Tracking, that’s as good as done.
Simple Tracking interfaces with UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL. If something’s being shipped, it’s bound to be by one of those services, so the wide range of support is nice. The tracking form can either provide you with a custom RSS URL, or give you the tracking status immediately, but if you’re like me, then you’re probably going to want to throw that feed in your aggregator immediately and wait for updates.
