Santa Chris Needs Your Wish Lists!

What do you want Santa to bring you this year? I might bring it to you, instead! If you have a holiday wish list, I need to see it immediately - because that’s the only way I know whether or not you want Santa Chris to visit (virtually, at least). Send me your list, or just a link to your list, so that I can put the wish lists in the magic bucket. You’ve got to do it this week, though - because next Friday, I’ll draw five lucky Gnomies and give them one item (each) from their lists. I’m serious, my friends - five of you will get something from me (as long as you ask for it on your list). If you stopped believing in Santa years ago, now’s the time to revisit the myth. I may not have a white beard or a bowl full of jelly, but I’m a good runner up. At least, a good runner up for five of you subscribers. But why play Santa Chris this year? Good question. I’m giving back to you - for giving me so much over these past ten years. So tell me what you’re wishing for and I’ll possibly make one of those wishes come true. At least six other faithful followers have walked away with wonderful gifts in the past couple of weeks - including last night’s weekly giveaway on The Chris Pirillo Show (Deb Corrin scored herself a PSP just for calling into the program). All you need to do now is blast me your wish list. Er, I mean… send it to Santa Chris.
Even if you don’t personally celebrate Christmas, I think you understand the spirit behind this gesture. That’s what this season is all about (at least, for me). The Holidays should be magical for everyone, and I’m just trying to do what I can. Yes, people have asked me for my own Christmas wish list, but one of my presents has already arrived (although Ponzi wasn’t home when the package came and I opened it prematurely) - I’ll tell you about it next week. The stockings aren’t yet hung by the chimney with care, though. I suppose we gotta unpack that Christmas box soon, eh? I’m doing my best not to burn out on Christmas music too early (and by that, I mean Wicket and Pixie go nuts when Jingle Cats comes on the radio). This year’s holiday season is in full swing, and it’s really moving fast. Festivus is humming along as well - with the airing of grievances just around the corner. I’ve learned a bit about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, the winter solstice, et al. It’s great to have these holidays to break up the regular grind of the year. And 2006 will start out with a nice gift from Santa Chris for five lucky Gnomies… but you gotta send me your list already!
