Okay, repeat after me: Firefox rules!
Firefox has changed the way we surf the Web. It’s an Open Source Web browser that provides a fast, safe, secure experience on the Internet.
I have been using Firefox since it was Firebird. In other words, for a LONG TIME! And furthermore, I strongly suggest you use it too.
Why? Well, reason number one is SECURITY. Nine out of ten Web surfers are using Internet Explorer. And sadly, they are putting their operating systems at risk. Why? Because IE is designed to work directly with the system kernel. Out of the box, it is also rife with potential holes for hackers to poke into your system and cause sever problems with your computer. We’re talking system crashes, identity theft, all sorts of bad stuff. If you can hack IE, you can get straight to the guts of your system.
That’s why Firefox is inherently better. It’s just a software application that rides “on top” of your system kernel. If a hacker was to exploit it, the potential for damage is much less.
IE gets patched once a month, on average. If you are fully updated, it’s fairly safe, although it may be vulnerable to attacks in between those monthly updates.
Firefox’s community of developers addresses its infrequent system flaws within hours! By default, Firefox is set to check for updates and let you know if they are available.
