More Lawsuits Planned Against Sony BMG

As I predicted, the EFF will file a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court against Sony BMG for the problems caused by the First4Internet XCP CDs - it is also filing for the problems caused by the SunnComm MediaMax CD copy protection software.

Also:

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott filed a civil lawsuit on Monday against Sony BMG Music Entertainment for allegedly including spyware on its media player designed to thwart music copying.

Now Sony BMG has actions pending against it for this fiasco in three of the most populated states in the U.S. I guess when Sony has a bad day, it really has a bad day… ;-)
