If you are fortunate enough to live out in the country far away from city lights, you know the sheer majesty of the night sky. If you live under city lights (as I unfortunately do in my formerly small town of Bentonville, Arkansas), then a trip out to the southwestern desert or perhaps the open spaces of Kansas will reveal the amazing intricacies and mysteries of the spacious canopy that surrounds our earth.
