Find The Security Tab In Active Directory

The Security tab is used to set access control permissions on objects within Active Directory. It is the same as settings access control permissions on your folders and files within Windows Explorer. When you open the Active Directory Users and Computers console and open the Properties dialog box for an object, you will notice that the Security tab is not visible. This is the default behavior.
In order to make the Security tab visible, you must complete the following steps:
- Click Start, Administrative Tools, and select Active Directory Users and Computers.
- Select the View menu.
- Select Advanced Features. A check should now appear beside this option.
When you open the properties dialog box for an object in Active Directory, you should now see the Security tab where you can configure any access control permissions.

I’ve searched for this information a few times a week for a MONTH. Micro$not was, of course, NOT helpful.
THANK YOU Diana Huggins!!!!!!!
