Rainlendar – Desktop Calendar
There are a lot of calendar programs out there. There are a lot of listing programs out there, as well. Rainlendar does something different though. It allows you to both manage your calendar and your to do list right there on your desktop. It is one of the most useful things I have ever seen. Well, as far as desktop calendars go at least.
Here is what the folks at Rainlendar have to say about the product:
Rainlendar is a customizable calendar that displays the current month. It is a very lightweight application that doesn’t use many system resources or take much space on your desktop.
Some of the features of Rainlendar include: Small and lightweight, different types of events can have different appearances, supports Windows transparency, synchronizes events between several clients, localized for multiple languages, shows an alarm when an event is due, supports iCal files, shows Outlook’s appointments, includes a to do list, works also as Litestep plugin, displays the current date in tray icon, can stick to the desktop (i.e. doesn’t hide with Show Desktop), hotkeys for quick access, easy skinning with a UI, and more.
If you are looking to bring a little more organization to your life and desktop, then give Rainlendar a try.
