Comedy Central is unveiling a new Internet television network, the Motherload Network (yes, I know it should be “Motherlode Network,” and that in fact it’s “mother lode” or “mother-lode,” not “motherload,” but hey, they didn’t consult me before they named it).
The Motherload Network will be online starting next Tuesday, November 1st.
Initially the Internet-based broadband Motherload Network will offer five different channels, featuring 450 video clips and six series. The channels are TV Shows, Comedians, Originals, The Daily Show, and Cult Classics. Comedy Central says that the Motherload Network will be updated five days a week, and that it will be adding 50 to 80 shows a week to the network.
