I recently suggested a site that allowed you to quickly upload photos for use in auctions, message boards, and so on. While the tool did work quite nicely, you may have wanted something a little more beefy to handle your images. I’ve recently been made aware of a free service that is probably already quite familiar to most eBay users. It’s called Photobucket, and many of the listings on eBay rely on it to host their images. Maybe you will, too?
The free version offers you 25M of hosting space and 1.5G of bandwidth. That’s not too shabby for a proven and reliable service. If that isn’t enough to scratch your itch, then why not consider a premium account which will give you 1G of disk space and unlimited bandwidth? Each user is given an online album, and it’s up to you if you want to keep it private or make it public. Nice extras such as a slideshow and easy to copy image links make the service feel more complete. What will you put in your bucket?
