What’s your preferred search engine? As I’ve said before, Google continues to nab the top spot for me, but I must say that I do wander over to Yahoo! on occasion. It’s nice to get a couple of different directory perspectives on a query from time to time, and when you need to do that, combining Google and Yahoo! can give you powerful results. The process of switching back and forth between the engines can be time consuming and tedious, so why not just kill two birds with one stone? Gahoo!Yoogle will allow you to do this.

The site gives you a stripped down interface that only asks you to type in what you want to search for, and what category you want to search in (Web, images, news, shopping, directory). As soon as you carry out the search, you’ll get a window that is split right down the middle with two frames. On the left you’ll find Yahoo!, and on the right you’ll find Google. By seeing both sets of results at once, you can quickly compare them and easily find what you’re looking for.
