Microsoft’s Windows Updates for this month total nine, of which three are considered critical for Windows security. Four are considered important, and there are also two of “moderate” concern.
The three critical Windows updates are all security updates to Windows security flaws which would allow for remote code execution if exploited. That means that the bad guys could take over your computer remotely, and run programs on it. These updates affect the Windows OS, Internet Explorer, and DirectX.
The four “important” updates all are related to remote code execution as well, and include flaws that affect both Windows and Exchange.
