While you may not need to sign-up for a full-fledged hosting account, you’ll probably want to host various small files from time to time. For example, think about images. Let’s say that you need to link to an image of your own in an auction, message board, blog, etc. What are you going to do? It seems foolish to have to pay for Web space to host the images when you only have a few to upload, but if you try to use the free services that are out there, you’ll find that many of them have restrictions on how you can link to the files. To make things easier, just use TinyPic.
This site provides a great way to quickly host images. All you have to do is choose the file on your computer that you want to upload, and with the click of a button, you’ll be good to go. You’ll receive a short URL that you can use to access the file, and thankfully, no ads or watermarks will tarnish your image.
