The other day I had a look at StudioLine Photo, the paid version of one of the best photo organization suites there is out there today. You probably already knew that though, didn’t you? Did you know that same program has a free little brother as well? Its name is StudioLine Photo Basic and it is almost as good as the paid version.
The interface is very straight forward and clean. If you get lost, the help menus that are available are well written, and easy to understand. You can drag and drop your photos and images from Windows or from the program itself. Once you do, they will be loaded in and ready to go.
All your basic editing tools are there. In all reality, most folks just want to organize their photos. They don’t need to do professional editing and organizing inside of one program. The built in search functions and real-time editing are nice to see as well. You photos can be exported and ready for E-mails, photo galleries, or just your own personal computer.
StudioLine Photo Basic might not have all the bells and whistles that StudioLine Photo has, but it is still worth checking out if you are looking for a free photo organization suite.
