What do Mr. Wizard, Mr. Peabody, and the kid who sat next to you in algebra class all have in common? The answer is that they all have the answer to most of the questions that they are asked. That puts today’s site in some good company.
Ask Dr. Universe is a site that is maintained by the researchers at Washington State University in Pullman. Here is a kids site that is totally geared to helping answer the questions that we parents just can’t seem to. Ones like how much does an astronaut weigh in outer space? Or why don’t spiders stick to their own Web? One that I especially enjoyed is why can’t we print enough money to pay off the national debt? There is a variety of topics here, and a chance for visitors to submit questions and have them thoroughly answered…
