By default, AutComplete stories entries for Web addresses, forms, as well as user names and passwords (the latter you are prompted as the whether you want to store them). You can configure what AutoComplete is used for or even turn it off completely.
To do so, open the Content tab from the Internet Options dialog box using the steps outlined in the previous tip. Click the AutoComplete button. Clear the check box beside any options you do not want AutoComplete used for. For example, if you do not want AutoComplete to store user names and passwords, simply clear the check box beside this option.
