Microsoft Word allows you to set up documents that will require a center fold or book fold. For example, if you need to create an invitation or menu that needs to be folded down the center.
You can add a book fold to a document from the Page Setup dialog box. From the File menu, click the Page Setup option. On the Margins tab, use the drop down arrow beside Multiple pages and select the Book fold option.

Set up works as Diana described, but an apparent bug in programs causes graphics always to print on the wrong page. If a graphic is laid out on a right-hand page it prints on the left-hand page and vice versa. So, if your document contains graphics, until the bug is fixed, book fold is a useless feature.

For Word 2007, to use book fold with graphics, you must first save your document as a .doc (Word 97-2003) rather than a .docx (Word 2007). Now print your documents and your graphics will stay put.
