View Page Margins In A Word Document

Page margins are the blank space around a document. Margins are used to define the printing area within a document. When you create a new document in Word, the margin settings configured in the template are automatically applied.

By default, the margins are not visible. However, you can have the margins in your document displayed as dotted lines surrounding your text. From the Tools menu, click Options. Under the Print and Web Layout option section, place a check beside Text boundaries and then click OK. When you return to your document, the margins will now be visible.

2 questions-
Is there a way to display the dimensions of the current document margins (no, not the dotted lines) in a toolbar or anywhere?

How do I easily move pictures inserted into a Word document? When I right click on the picture, it allows me to adjust brightness, etc., but I don’t see where I can position it relative to margins or page.

Thanks,
Donn Urban
