“Don’t leave home without one.” Remember those American Express commercials? They now apply equally to Roborior, the house-sitting mini-robot on wheels, little brother to four-legged house-sitting robot Banryu. Roborior and Banryu are both brought to you by Japanese robot maker Tmsuk Co., and will surveil the inside of your house while you are out.
But where Banryu has an $18,000 US price tag, Roborior, produced in collaboration with Sony, will only set you back $2,600.
