Although it is often attributed to Mark Twain, it was American journalist Charles Dudley Warner who on August 24, 1897 quipped, “Everyone talkes about the weather, but nobody does anything about it.” Warner was a essayist, novelist, author and editor of the “Hartford Courant.”
