Simple File Shredder v2.6

Have you ever wanted to delete something from your computer so that it would never haunt you again? Even if somebody tried to recover the lost document, you want them to hit a brick wall. We have all been there at one time or another. Now with Simple File Shredder v.2.6, you can do just that.

When you delete a file using the regular “hit the delete key” method, the file is not actually gone. Windows just knows the file is no longer needed and considers its space as free. The file will exist in a recoverable state until it is overwritten with other data.

When you use Simple File Shredder v2.6 to destroy a file, it gives the file a meaningless name and writes over the file with random information. If the file was able to be restored, the data inside the file would be totally worthless.

So what are you waiting for? Get to discarding those documents and pictures that you are afraid your loved ones will see. Shred those hidden government documents from Area 51 that you stumbled upon late one night. You can do all that and more with Simple File Shredder v2.6.

Eraser does a good job. Delete a file, a folder, etc.
