The Nine Planets

Summer nights and camping under the stars - what a way to look forward to
spending a vacation. But while looking at those stars, have you ever
wondered about them? Especially the ones closest to the Earth. I mean
the other planets that go around the sun with us, as well as their
moons. If you look on a clear night, you will even be able to see some
of them. The astronauts on the Shuttle Discovery and the International
Space Station will also have a nice view of them.

The Nine Planets is an online, multimedia tour of our solar system. From
Mercury, the closest to the sun, to Pluto, the most distant. Anything
and everything you could want to know about them is here. It contains
a lot of great pictures, as well as links to other space related
sites. The amount of information contained here is just what any
budding Carl Sagan or Isaac Asimov needs to spur their interest in
science…
