Reinstall Internet Explorer

At some point in time, you may have to reinstall Internet Explorer or Outlook Express. Thankfully, the process does not require you to completely reinstall your operating system. It only requires you to type in a simple command.

To reinstall Internet Explorer or Outlook Express in Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 using the SFC (System File Checker) command from the run command. Simply click Start, and click Run. Type in sfc/ scannow and then click OK. If you are prompted, insert the installation CD for your operating system.
