I have a confession to make - I’ve never actually purchased anything from eBay. Those of you who are auction fanatics are probably hyperventilating right now, but it’s the truth - I’m an eBay virgin. I do find great deals when I browse through the listings just like everyone else, but I never seem to follow through on the interest. I tend to gravitate towards the Buy It Now items simply because the idea of instant gratification is much better than the exhausting bidding wars that take place over something as trivial as a gently used pair of socks. Lastminute Auction pulls out listings from eBay that are about to expire in an hour or less, and are priced at a dollar or less.

This is a bargain hunter’s dream. Many listings are neglected, and if you know what you’re doing, you can get great deals on merchandise that hasn’t received tons of exposure. Categories for the items are here, and if you’d like, you can even do a search for a particular item that interests you. Who knows, you just might find it for a selling price of less than a dollar. As you can imagine, you will find a lot of junk by doing this, but I also found some tremendous deals in the short time that I was looking. Be wary of shipping costs, though - they can really get you there. It looks like it’s just about time for me to become an actual eBayer. Don’t I get a cake or something?
