Hotmail Turning Up The Heat

It looks like Hotmail isn’t immune to the sudden surge of Upgrade Fever in the computer industry. A source at Microsoft has pointed me in the direction of the blog run by the (hold your breath!) Codename KAHUNA development teams.

Does IE7 Banish Google and Yahoo! Search? Vista Testers Lose Toolbars

Along with the limited beta release of Microsoft’s new Windows Vista came a beta version of IE7 (Internet Explorer 7).
Almost immediately, Vista and IE7 users began reporting that their Yahoo! and Google toolbars had… vanished, while other less, um, competitive toolbars (pop-up blockers and form-fillers, to name two) experienced no such mystical disappearance.
