Free Offers For Real?

You may have seen or heard about these sites. They say send your friends your link and if x number of friends sign up for the free offer, you get the cool gadget for free. The cool gadget started with iPods and has grown to include Mac minis, flat screen monitors, desktop PCs, photo iPods, PSPs, Gameboys, and much more. I first heard of it back when it was the original iPod and immediately gave it a shot after doing research to find out whether or not it was legitimate. I confirmed it was indeed legitimate as many bloggers completed the offer and received their prize.

I started this back in September 2004. It took a while to get my first five, but I was disqualified for a couple of bad ones as you’ll see explained in my Free iPod adventures. I decided to continue trying to get more people to complete offers figuring if I could make up for the bad ones, I’d still be eligible to get the iPod. Nope. Once they suspended my account, that was that. I gave up after a few e-mails and forgot about it.
