Grafedia
Whoa. I am surprised I haven’t come across Grafedia till now. But then again, I have not seen any graffiti with blue writing and an underline to indicate it’s a “link.” It’s like a Web treasure hunt for mobile phones and handheld devices.
Ms. Graffiti Writer takes a picture of something she sees or creates and sends it to Grafedia with a word to associate with the picture (it can also be a video or sound file). So I find a photo and assign it the keyword of “meryl.” Creative, eh? I can submit it through the Grafedia Web site or by emailing meryl@grafedia.net (“meryl” would be replaced by the word, if you create one of your own).
You come across meryl, ooh it’s right here! It looks like a clickable link, but in the real world, you can’t click the grafedia links. You’ve found a grafedia! So, from your mobile device (or you can do it from your PC, but I don’t think you’re carrying your PC out there in the world where you’d come across a real grafedia.), send an e-mail or text message to meryl@grafedia.net and wait for a response. When you get a reply, you should have an image as an attachment.
Try out some of the others by going to the site and using the words listed there such as bunny, see_me, and in_here (if you see a space such as “in here,” you can enter it with a space. However, if your device has a problem with it, then use an underscore instead. Go forth and spread the grafedia!
