If there’s one thing that you can’t get away from these days, it’s reality television. You can say you don’t like it for as long as you want, but we’re not going to believe you for one second. The chances are that if you watch television at all, some form of reality is a part of the mix. Just take the news for example - that’s the longest running reality show in existence. If I told you that you could instantly be a part of a global reality show without leaving your desk chair, what would you say? Sign me up, right? A strange site called reality makes this possible.
The idea is that you watch a monitor on a streaming camera picture that displays random quips from site visitors. Don’t think it’s real? Type in your message and watch it appear on the screen in real time. As you can imagine, I took the opportunity to plug a few things, while other illumines minds wrote messages like “hello” for everyone to see. The strange element of this site is that it seems to be a viral ad for some sort of adhesive. To test the product, they glued the monitor to the wall (documenting the process with video and pictures), and have a countdown clock plastered on the site to show you how long it has been suspended in midair.
I Want To Be a Hilton, but The Apprentice is probably better for The Bachelor like me - at least that’s what Nanny 911 said on American Idol. Apparently, fear is not a factor for me.
