Today on the Web you can find guides for just about anywhere, from the Bahamas to Beijing. These guides often give you great information about where to go and what to see. But it is the amount of different guides on the Web that makes them all the more useful, because each one represents a different perspective.
This breadth of opinion is now being brought to audio guides. Before, technological restrictions made it almost impossible to publicly share audio guides. Yet with the advent of podcasting, anyone can publish an audio guide on the Web.
You could create an audio guide that describes your favorite museum, taking a stranger through the paintings that you love. Or, you could download an audio guide from an Art History professor that would give the history of the artwork as you walk through.
