Logitech Drops Both Balls

Hmm… It’s been a week since I wrote the first article on Logitech’s apparent limp response to a trouble report on its drivers. Since then I have heard exactly ZIP from Logitech. On the other hand, I’ve heard more than a little from fellow Gnomies who have either experienced the same problem in other apps or been stopped cold by Logitech’s attitude.

Not being the type to take this off-handed reply to the bug report submission, I thought I’d write a little more and see what happens. Needless to say, perhaps, I’d like to get a response from a real human at Logitech who has the authority to say ‘Oops! We do have a problem and we’re working on it.’ At least I would hope that that’s the kind of response we would get. I sure don’t like to think that Logitech ignores bug reports.

How about it, Logitech? Are there any real humans listening? Or should we all start looking for alternatives with sound drivers?

Greetings Chris,
I to have had nothing but trouble with a logitech product, Namely a Webcam, of with they make quite a few models. I installed the software and it worked ok, then I noticed the sound was going crazy, tried uninstalling the cam sound drivers, and now the complete program, but that didn’t help, tried their web site..nope that either.. but the biggest Bite Me, My Canon Rebel XTi quit too.. I’m still working on that problem..
Thanks for letting Me vent,
