Change The Color Of The Gridlines In Excel

Gridlines in Excel allow you to see the different cells. By default, these lines are light gray in color. If you want more definition, you may want to use a brighter color to define the different cells.

You can change the color of gridlines in Excel by the completing these steps:

  1. Within Excel, click the Tools menu and select Options.

  2. From the View tab, verify that there is a check beside Gridlines.
  3. Use the drop down arrow beside Gridlines color and select the color you want to use.
  4. Click OK.

Your gridlines will now be displayed in the color of your choice.
