Finding homes for children who have no parents can be very difficult. Finding home for children who are the victims of wars and suffering can be even more difficult. But with the committed work of organizations such as the one that Family First Site visits today, the difficult is becoming reality.
The site is called Hope and Homes for Children. It was created by Mark and Caroline Cook in 1994. After seeing the suffering that had devastated the Balkans, they made it their mission to provide homes and a future for the young victims of war and disaster. They are now celebrating their 10th anniversary. Todate, they have found homes for over 7500 children in 14 countries, and have expanded their work to other countries around the world, such as Sierra Leone and Mozambique…

Our pioneering childcare programmes are being implemented by Governments and organisations, and have helped establish Hope and Homes for Children as an international leader in this field.
In our 10th year we have launched an appeal to secure the future of the children we care for, and to expand our work to make a positive and long lasting change to the lives of the world’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
