Where Art Thou, Apple?

Having followed the Apple Corp. for the last 20+ years, I find it vastly amusing that it will now be powered by Intel engines. Basically, that means that any of us (with some tweaking) will be able to run Apple’s oh-so-pristine operating systems, given the desire to do so. Considering the attitude of the average rabid Apple supporter, it’s likely that antacids are selling like lemonade at the county fair amongst the Faithful Few.
Yes, after all these years, Apple has decided to switch rather than fight. I guess it figures that a sheep in wolf’s clothing might be more acceptable to the corporate crowd. That might just be true, if it weren’t for the business world’s standardization on Microsoft, Windows, and MS Office. Well, yes, I know that Microsoft made a version for Macs, but since the OS will have to change to use the Intel CPUs going under the hood, will MS bother? Or will it make it easier to do? We’ll have to wait to see.
