Demo Builder v4

A few months ago, Brandon Watts reviewed a splendid little piece of visual learning software called Demo Builder. Since then, Demo Builder has released a new version with a ton of new changes, including:

  • Auto Text
    During the recording, Demo Builder will place the balloons in the right place with the right text that best describes the action in your application.

  • Multiple Output Formats

    The export interface has been improved and new export formats have been added.

    • Standalone
      Create an executable file that can be run as a standalone file on a Windows, Linux, or Macintosh computer.

    • Image files
      Instead of creating a movie, you can create a sequence of images and play them using the simple navigation buttons.

  • Audio Editing
    Adjust volume, insert silence, edit mistakes, or add an external audio file to a presentation with the built-in audio editor.

  • Multiple sound sequences per frame
    Insert multiple sound sequences for each frame or background sound for the whole movie.

  • Keystroke
    Mute: Enable or disable the typing sound.

    Remove: Remove the typing sound from frame.

  • Click Zone
    Hand cursor : Show / don’t show the hand cursor when you move the mouse over the click zone.

  • Customizable Playback Controls

    Info Button: Show / don’t show the Info button on the Player bar when movie is played.

  • Editing
    Save the background image of the frame in order to be edited with an external graphic editor.
    Vertical Aligment: top, middle, bottom. Applies to balloons, notes, texts, and animated texts.
    New context menu allows you to: Close movie, delete a frame, undo, redo.
