Paste Special In Word 2002

Text within a specific document or text that you find on a Web page usually has its own typeface, color, and font size. When you copy text with different formatting into your own document, Word will automatically copy the text with its original typeface, color, and font size. However, you may want the new text to match the formatting in document that you are pasting it into to. This is where the Paste Special function comes into play.

Once you copy the text from the original document or from the Web, open the destination document. From the Edit menu, click Paste Special. The Paste Special dialog box will immediately appear. From the list of options, select Unformatted Text and click OK.
