If you use Outlook Express to communicate with family and friends, you can use stationery to liven up your messages. When you add stationery to a message, a fancy background is placed behind the actual message. In a previous article, I outlined how you can add stationery to all your messages.

Outlook Express includes a set of stationery that you can use. However, if you want access to additional ones you can download them from the Microsoft Web site.

1. Open Outlook Express.

2. From the Tools menu, click Options.
3. Click the Compose tab.
4. Under stationery, click the Download More button.
5. This will automatically take you to Microsoft’s Web site.
6. Click the Download more stationery here link.
7. Using the drop down arrow, select the type of stationery you want to download.
8. Click the Download Now button.

Follow the directions provided on the Web site to install and use the new stationery.
