We recently had an addition to our household. No, not the two-legged kind, but a four-legged ball of fire named Beau. He is a miniature poodle that I gave my wife for her birthday. Since she has allergies, our choices were somewhat limited. But he has made himself a member of our family. He is usually a well-behaved puppy; he was housebroken when we got him. His worst habits are looking out the windows and barking at anything that goes by the house. On the whole, he is a well-mannered dog, and he responds well to our commands.
