If you make changes to the formatting of a document and want to see how this has affected the overall look of your document, you can save paper by using the zoom feature. It lets you print more than one page of a document on a single piece of paper. For example, if you have made changes to headers and footers, you can see how your document looks by printing four pages on a single piece of paper (you only use one piece of paper instead of four). When you use the zoom feature, your document is not altered at all. It is only scaled to fit on the paper.
If you want to try using the zoom feature, simply follow the procedure outlined below.
- From the File menu, click Print.
- Under the Zoom section, use the drop down arrow beside Pages per sheet to select the option you want.
- Click OK.
